The Story of Artemis
One of the great divinities of the Greeks, Artemis was the Lady of Wild Things and a Moon goddess. As a Huntsmen in Chief to the gods, she was worshipped as a goddess of forests and hills. She is also a Mother Goddess, protector of dewy youth and young women, and women in childbirth.
Artemis is a goddess of three forms, Selene in the sky, Artemis on Earth, and Hecate in the lower world and the world above when it is wrapped in darkness. Within Artemis we see vividly the composition of good and evil in all divinities.
